CPRS Launches National Exam

The Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS) is gearing up for the launch of the 2013 Public Relations Knowledge (PRK)™exam. This exam was developed in an effort to add credibility and provide tangible evidence to those looking to enter the PR profession.
The CPRS encourages you to consider writing this exam if you are a:
- Recent graduate from a public relations program looking for a way to demonstrate your foundation of public relations knowledge;
- New member of the public relations profession motivated to distinguish yourself; or
- Professional who is considering a career shift to public relations.

The two-hour online exam will consist of multiple choice and short answer covering areas including ethics, strategic analysis and judgment, and writing proficiency.
The PRK™ exam begins at 1:30 pm on Saturday, January 26, 2013. For Halifax and surrounding area, the exam will be held at Mount Saint Vincent University.
